Thanksgiving Jell-O Salad

My Mom made this every Thanksgiving for as long as I can recall.  My sister and I continue to make it only at Thanksgiving.  It's yummy!

1 3 oz. package Jell-o (cherry, black cherry or raspberry.  Black cherry is my favorite)

1 small package cream cheese

1/2 pint whipping cream, whipped

1 small jar maraschino cherries

1 small can mashed pineapple

1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Dissolve Jell-o with 1 cup boiling water.   Cool, but do not jell.  Whip cream cheese and whipped cream into Jell-O.  Add rest of ingredients including juices.   Chill until set.

I use that Tupperware mold and it works like a dream.
