Marshmallow Crème Fudge

1 jar marshmallow crème

1 1/2 cups sugar

2/3 cups evaporated milk

1/4 cup butter/margarine

1/4 tsp salt

1 12 oz package Nestle Chocolate Morsels

1 tsp vanilla

1/2 cup nuts (optional)

 

Combine marshmallow crème, sugar, evaporated milk, butter and salt.  Bring to a full boil, stirring constantly over medium high heat.  Boil for 5 minutes.  Remove from heat.  Add Nestle Morsels, stir until melted.  Stir in vanilla and nuts.  Pour into greased platter and let cool.  Makes 2-1/4 lbs fudge.
